Royal Canin Neutered Young Male is a complete cat food for neutered cats. It can be fed from neutering up to 7 years and used in multicat households. Neutered cats tend to put on weight more easily and therefore a weight control diet is very beneficial. L-Carnitine helps to move fat into the mitochondria to be used as an energy source. Low starch levels will help to prevent weight gain, obesity and diabetes. High protein levels will help your cat to preserve muscle mass whilst giving a feeling of fullness between meals. High protein recipes are also highly palatable for cats. Urinary problems will be helped as the food will increase urine volume. This will help to prevent the formation of struvite or calcium oxalate uroliths. The kibble will also encourage dental and oral health due to its texture and shape. The mechanical action of chewing will limit the development of dental plaque and tartar.
