Redwings announces official partnership with equestrian influencer Riding with Rhi

Redwings is pleased to announce that Rhiannon Davies, known as Riding with Rhi, has joined the charity as an official Ambassador, to help them continue to improve the lives of horses.

Rhi, a Surrey-based equine content creator, developed a relationship with Redwings, one of the largest horse welfare charities in the UK, during their work together on this year’s Strangles Awareness Week (SAW), an international awareness-raising campaign about the infectious equine disease.

Rhi is the producer of Equestrian Money Diaries, as well as working with top brands Toggi, Champion, Equitex, SEIB and Audevard to name a few. Rhi will be donating her time to Redwings for free.

Lydia Duce, Redwings Marketing and Corporate Partnerships Manager, said: “Rhi was so helpful in making this year’s SAW a success, promoting best practice messages to her Riding with Rhi audience who love her relatable and educational content.

“We’ve been in discussions since then about how we can continue to do even more good for horses together, and I’m so pleased that we can now announce that Rhi is an official Redwings Ambassador.

“I’m excited to see what we can do together to improve the lives of these incredible animals who we have such a shared love for.”

Rhi has a six-year-old Irish Draught horse called Harley, who she posts regularly about on her social media channels, documenting the reality of horse ownership.

Rhi said: “Building a platform through Riding With Rhi has created a lot of privilege and opportunities for me and it feels only right to share that space with incredible charities like Redwings who truly deserve the spotlight. I have followed their work since I was a child and believe not only in their incredible adoption work, but in their campaigns such as Strangles Awareness Week. Now, more than ever, the equestrian world needs charities like Redwings for the love of these beautiful animals.”
